Additional Considerations:

  • A student can only receive credit for one letter during a season. For example, if they played on the JV for part of the basketball season, but also played enough varsity quarters to earn a varsity letter, they receive points for the varsity letter.
  • If a student is suspended during his/her sport for any reason, during their Senior year, the student cannot qualify for a scholarship award.
  • An applicant’s social media activity may be considered before selection and award of the scholarship.
  • If two applicants receive the same total point score, the applicant with the most Athletic Points will receive the award.

Recipients may be listed on the Atoms Booster Club website. They may also be published in official Annandale High School correspondence and communications.

Selection Committee

The scholarship selection committee is comprised of the members of the Atoms Booster Club Scholarship Committee.

The decision of the committee is final, and all scoring is confidential and will not be disclosed outside of the committee.
